Going into a medical college gives u a lot of happiness & loads of expectations. You see lots of ups & downs in the college days. A sigh of relief comes after passing out. But soon u realise its a momentary happiness. Like all others you have to throw yourself into a competition to secure a good post graduation seat.
Looking at the ratio of MBBS to MD/MS seats, its really a thing to think about. Its not even 10%. So how can everyone get it? But there is nobody to accept the fact that it can be 'me'. Everyone jumps into the race, some tastes success & others gets disappointment. The problem doesn't end here. Those who end on a losing side have many more reasons to feel dejected. The people who got through gives a lot of inferiority complex, some friends move away & even the public make them look like a fool entering into practice without PG degree.

Is it enough to curse oneself or blame the system? Is it correct to assume credibility of the doctor just on the basis of their degrees? Are the entrance toppers are proven good clinicians in their practice. Most of the questions remains unanswered. Do we really need the ranker among the equals!
